Home Beermaking
Beginners Guide

The law in Britain relating to home winemaking states that you may produce as much beer as you like, but must not attempt to sell it under any circumstances.

Making your own beer is simple and fun to do. Your beer will usually be superior in body, bouquet and in flavour, and it is certainly more satisfying.

You will produce beers with the alcoholic content averaging 5%, and the cost can be from as little as 15p per pint

With only a small outlay for equipment, you can continually make quality beer for a fraction of the cost of supermarket beers or of those purchased from across from the continent

If you can make a cup of tea, you can brew a pint of beer.

You will be amazed at the quality of beer that YOU will produce.
